Gaza Needs Fresh Food: Conexión CP Launches Solidarity Campaign with Local Farmers
The humanitarian crisis in Gaza continues to worsen, with thousands of displaced families facing immense challenges in accessing basic food supplies. Against this backdrop, Conexión CP is renewing its commitment to direct assistance by launching a new initiative focused on providing fresh food—essential for the health and wellbeing of the population.
At present, food distribution points in the region are scarce and far from some areas. Only four centres in the southern part of the Strip offer non-perishable food, and not all displaced people are able to reach them. Although new centres have been announced, they too will be limited to distributing non-perishable items, leaving the urgent need for fresh produce unmet.

Partnership with Local Farmers
Inspired by the positive impact of regional initiatives—such as a project led by the University of Alexandria in Egypt—we have reached out to farmers in Gaza. In the same spirit, we will begin purchasing vegetable bundles directly from local producers, with the goal of distributing them to as many displaced families as possible.
At our organization, we believe real change comes from tangible action. That’s why we’re committed to supporting farming families who are essential to the supply of fresh, nutritious food. By helping strengthen their crops, we not only improve their livelihoods but also ensure that thousands of people in urgent need have access to healthy, reliable produce.
The vegetable bundles will include courgettes, aubergines, peppers, tomatoes, lettuce, and molokhia. You can see them in this video FARMERS IN GAZA.
Distribution Zones
The vegetable bundles will be distributed at two strategic locations: Deir Al Balah, in the centre of the Strip, and Al Mawasi, on the Mediterranean coast. Both sites allow us to reach communities that currently lack access to fresh food and where the need is critical.

Solidarity Campaign: Half Marathon in Marbella
Lily, one of our dedicated volunteers, is organising a fundraising campaign through a half-marathon taking place on 28 September in Marbella, Spain. As a token of appreciation, once we reach our goal, some contributors within the country will receive special gifts, including two original artworks, poetry books, a painting, four online personal training sessions, a fire show for an event, and more. Please note that donations are accepted in multiple currencies.
