Small surprises that make a big difference

In times marked by uncertainty and adversity, small gestures can become true beacons of hope. With this conviction, Conexión CP offered a gift that aims to brighten, at least for one day, the lives of the 400 children who attend the school of the Palestinian Development Organization (POD) in Gaza.

We maintain an active partnership with POD, and for this reason we wanted to close the year with a gesture that is as simple as it is meaningful: a surprise snack for all primary school students, from 1st to 6th grade. We firmly believe that care and education can open paths of light even in the most difficult moments.

A gift for those who took part in a key project

This action has special symbolic value. Last September, we promoted a programme aimed at strengthening the psychological well-being and pedagogical skills of the school’s teachers. This gift is now directed precisely at the children who are part of that same educational center.

Two days to share smiles

The distribution of the snacks took place over two days:

Thursday, December 18: Children in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade received their surprise.
Saturday, December 20: It was the turn of students in 4th, 5th, and 6th grade.

The school’s educators were responsible for handing out the snacks, which consisted of chocolate cookies and chocolate and fruit juices—banana, strawberry, and others—a simple combination that was greatly appreciated by the children. In addition, one of the collaborators dressed as a clown and carried out playful activities to delight the children with games, dancing, and songs.

A gesture that strengthens bonds

For Conexión CP, this initiative is not an isolated act, but rather another expression of our ongoing commitment to POD’s educational community. We continue to support them in their teaching work and in their efforts to maintain spaces of learning and dignity. Before the year came to an end, we wanted to bring a smile to the children’s faces.
