Our goals
The 4th goal of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals is to “ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.”
We at Conexión CP are more than eager to join our efforts to achieve just that.
In order to attain its goals, Conexión CP believes that it is of paramount importance to make links with other organisations, institutions and volunteers whose aims are to make a positive difference in people’s lives; particularly the lives of refugees and internally displaced people.
When we link our strengths and resources together, we share joint responsibility for greater social cohesion which will offer greater fulfilment in life and promote healthier communities, thus enhancing mutual respect and self-relianceTo translate these principles and values into action, we have decided to deliver online academic courses to support refugees and displaced peoples in their education. This online service will open a way to new job opportunities as well as eligibility for primary/secondary and higher education. These activities will also enhance the participants’ CV.
Our volunteers and professional teachers from around the world have a genuine desire to establish healthy relationships with their students and to pass on their knowledge. They are friendly and always willing to listen to any concerns or doubts that their students might have and to give them any advice which they might need.
Currently our volunteers are teaching English, Spanish, Catalan and German, using online tools such as Google Meet and Zoom. However, we also have volunteers on-site in Barcelona (Spain) and Amman (Jordan), and soon in other countries.
