At our Barcelona centre, this year we have offered courses in Spanish, Catalan and English. Since March, we have had the pleasure of receiving several interns from the International University of La Rioja (UNIR), the Distance University of Madrid (UDIMA) and Sciences Po University based in Paris. Their collaboration has been invaluable, allowing us to help more migrants and refugees. In addition, these interns have established excellent relationships with the students and have organised workshops and outings that enriched the educational experience.
Our face-to-face courses ended last week due to the closure of the centre until 6th September. However, on the 9th of September we will resume our Spanish courses. Although most of our classes and online courses have been paused for holidays, about half of them continue thanks to our dedicated teachers who continue to teach online. On 9th September we will also resume our full range of online courses. As for the face-to-face Catalan and English courses, they are likely to start a week later, around 16th September, as they require more organisation with our teaching staff.
