Workshops and trainings
The journey of Conexión: Creando Puentes has led us to reap great fruits, such as witnessing how those people, who one day knocked on our door to ask for help from our language courses for immigrants and refugees, are today integrated in a new country and enjoy a better economic situation. For this reason, the demand for training is increasing and we are opening new horizons that also allow us to finance the numerous projects carried out by our NGO.
An example of this is the creation of training workshops that seek to promote a taste for culture and knowledge, as well as the strengthening of a community that feels part of Conexión CP.
The first of them comes from the hand of the recognised journalist and photographer Alanah Torralba, who thanks to her extensive experience will combine the teaching of basic notions of the world of photography with the main keys to understand and react to climate change, which of course have caused massive displacements of people.
Along with this workshop, we are preparing several courses to promote the development of Spanish and English language skills in an integrated way with current and useful contents for professional training.
However, given that these courses/workshops offer satisfies a personal desire rather than a necessity for inclusion in society, we suggest a fee for participation in the form of a donation that will allow the NGO to continue to reach out to all those who need access to a language to live in a foreign country.
